What it is

A downloaded employment contract does one job well: it makes the hire feel official. It does not survive a wage claim, it does not protect your intellectual property in states that restrict assignment clauses, and it frequently contains a non-compete that is void where you are hiring.

This pack is drafted by an employment lawyer for your company, your states and your role types. It covers the documents a hire actually signs, plus the internal policies that give those documents force when something goes wrong.

Once the pack is delivered it is yours to reuse for every future hire in the same category, with no per-employee charge.

What you receive

  • Offer letter template with compensation, equity and at-will language
  • Full employment agreement covering confidentiality, IP assignment and restrictive covenants
  • Contractor agreement with classification language reviewed against your working practices
  • Handbook clause set: leave, conduct, remote work, expenses and grievance procedure
  • A state-by-state note on which restrictive covenants are enforceable where you hire
  • One round of revisions after you have read the draft

Timeline estimate

6 business days

  1. D+0You buy the service and send your instructions. A conflict check runs automatically and your matter is opened.
  2. D+1A qualified lawyer is assigned, confirms scope in writing and tells you if anything is missing. The delivery date is fixed at this point.
  3. DeliveryThe work lands on the agreed date, with a call to walk through it. Published turnaround for this service is 6 business days, measured from complete instructions.

The clock starts when we have everything we asked for. If a document is outstanding, your lawyer tells you the same day rather than letting the deadline slide quietly.

Who this is for

This service is a fit if all of the following are true. If one is not, buy a strategy call instead and a lawyer will point you to the right route.

  • You employ or intend to employ people in the United States
  • You can describe the roles, locations and working pattern you are hiring for
  • Your headcount is under 250 employees
  • You are not currently in a live employment tribunal or court proceeding on the same subject

Questions people ask before buying

How many states does the pack cover?

Up to four states are included in the fee. Additional states are 120 dollars each and are added at any time, including after delivery.

Can I reuse these documents for every hire?

Yes. The pack is licensed to your company with no per-employee fee and no expiry. We recommend a review every two years, or sooner if you start hiring in a new state.

Do you cover employees outside the United States?

Not in this pack. Cross-border hiring is jurisdiction-specific and we handle it as a separate instruction. Book a strategy call and we will tell you what your target country actually requires.

What about contractors who should really be employees?

Your lawyer reviews the working practices you describe and will tell you plainly where a classification looks wrong. That assessment is included, and it is usually the most valuable part of the pack.

Will the documents work with my HR platform?

Yes. You receive editable documents you can load into Rippling, Gusto, Deel or any e-signature tool. We do not lock the drafting into a portal you have to keep paying for.
